Fanta Fright Fest: An Interactive Mobile Brand Experience Powered by CUE
From September 7th to November 3rd, guests at Six Flags theme parks had a chance to enjoy the new drink while immersing themselves in the spooky spirit of Fright Fest at the park. As part of the brand activation, visitors had the opportunity to access the Fanta Fright Fest, an interactive mobile-first experience powered by CUE’s engagement platform. By scanning QR codes placed throughout the parks, guests unlocked the arcade and competed for exclusive prizes.
The Fanta Fright Fest Arcade featured two thrilling games designed to maximize gamification and real-time engagement:
🎃 Flavor Fest – A tug-of-war-style challenge where players battled to pull their way to victory.
👻 Run For It – A fast-paced endless runner where players jumped over obstacles to rack up points, with each leap making the game progressively more challenging. This immersive experience kept players on the edge of their seats, pushing for the longest streak.

Participants climbed the leaderboard for a chance to win a $1 off coupon for a 20 oz Fanta, while lucky players scored weekly prizes, including the highly sought-after Fanta Beetlejuice Bucket Hat.
“We were thrilled to partner with Coca-Cola and CUE to offer our guests this innovative and engaging interactive content experience,” said Topher Stott, CUE Creative Director. “The Fanta Fright Fest Mobile Arcade combined QR code activation, personalization, and social sharing to create a truly unique and memorable experiential marketing moment.”
CUE’s mobile engagement platform powered the arcade, seamlessly integrating brand activation with cutting-edge fan interaction. By turning every QR scan into a game, CUE delivered an exciting, data-driven way for brands to connect with audiences in real time—blending entertainment, competition, and rewards into one unforgettable mobile-first experience.
